Healthy Things Happening @ Saludos Niños

2026 is off to a healthy start with lots of good things happening at Saludos Niños.

We held our annual medical clinic for children of the program and their family members. There is an emphasis on personal hygiene, vitamin supplements, tooth care, and sun protection. The clinic and cost of any required medication is covered by the program.

In the photos above, the kids pose in front of class art for their medical clinic patient photos. Below, the kids enjoy actiities while waiting their turn to be examined by the doctors.

New water filters were delivered to families with children in the program and parents attended a demonstration on the care and use of the filters. Access to clean drinking water has greatly improved health outcomes for our students and their families.

Donations of clothes, shoes, and other essentials were distributed to the kids, thanks to help from SuDen-entraide.
