There has been plenty happening at Saludos Niños recently, from special celebrations to exciting community events and hands-on learning activities.

Celebrating Mother's Day

Our Mother's Day celebration was a wonderful opportunity for the children to show their appreciation for the special people in their lives. Families enjoyed enthusiastic and heartfelt performances by the children. It was a joyful event filled with smiles, laughter, and memorable moments that highlighted the strong connections between our children, families, and educators.

Learning Through Art

Art is an important part of everyday learning at Saludos Niños. Our classrooms are always full of colourful creations and each project is designed with a learning objective in mind.

Every piece of art is an opportunity to learn, discover, and grow. In these particular crafts, art is combined with learning about counting.

Tunes Afloat Fundraiser Returns to Wakefield

We're also excited to share that planning is underway for Tunes Afloat, a unique fundraising event taking place in early September in Wakefield, Quebec.

This one-of-a-kind event will feature a series of local bands performing from pontoon boats on the Gatineau River for nearly 2 hours. Music will drift along the waterfront between the old train trestle and Kaffe 1870, creating a truly memorable experience for everyone enjoying the boardwalk.

If you happened to be in Wakefield on Canada Day, you may have caught some of the sound testing that gave a preview of what's to come. It's shaping up to be an exciting afternoon of live music, community spirit, and fundraising in support of Saludos Niños.

Be sure to watch for event details and advertisements in The Low Down and on the Saludos Niños Facebook page as the date approaches. We hope to see you there!
